Leno Taborda is a filmmaker and editor based in Paris, born in 1998 in Avaré, a small town in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. He holds a degree in Filmmaking from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) and completed part of his studies at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. His graduation film, Trembling Eyes (Olhares Trêmulos), was screened at several film festivals in Brazil and internationally, notably in Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, Germany, and India. His work explores themes such as death and the queer gaze through a delicate and sensitive approach.
He is currently developing a short film project as part of the Master's program in Film Directing at Paris 8 University, France. Alongside his artistic practice, he has worked since 2021 in editing, assistant editing, and post-production supervision for advertising and fashion projects.
He is fluent in English, French, and Italian, and is a native speaker of Portuguese.

Leno Taborda é diretor e montador residente em Paris, nascido em 1998 em Avaré, São Paulo. Formado em Cinema pela Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP), realizou parte de sua formação na Sapienza Università di Roma, na Itália. Seu filme de graduação, Olhares Trêmulos, circulou por diversos festivais no Brasil e no exterior, com exibições em países como Argentina, Uruguai, Espanha, Alemanha e Índia. Sua obra explora, com delicadeza, temas como a morte e o olhar queer.
Atualmente, desenvolve um projeto de curta-metragem no âmbito do Mestrado em Realização da Universidade Paris 8, na França. Paralelamente, trabalha desde 2021 com montagem, assistência de montagem e supervisão de pós-produção para projetos de publicidade e moda.
